Considering Prepaid cell service?

Many of you ask yourself from time to time, should I cancel or switch cell phone services? Most carriers have lowsy contracts in which you are stuck with the same phone for 2yrs, why be confined to a phone for 2yrs? when half the time you break or lose the phone in general. Now although I'm not saying that's what happens to everyone, this has probably happened to you at least once since ever owning a cell phone. I myself have never been tied down to a contract, why? because I honestly didn't want to have the hassle of dealing with it in case I couldn't pay from one month to the other. I started out with Virgin Mobile who at the time had the cheapest plan in a prepaid service I had ever seen which was $25 a month, now of course in mostly all prepaid services you have to purchase the phone downright, and that's probably what most people don't like about prepaid service, but honestly you save more money in the long run in my opinion, at least I have.

This is what most Virgin Mobile packages looks like, you can buy them at most retailers, I usually go to BestBuy because they usually get the newest phones first within the first week of their release so I like to grab my hands on the newest handset when I get the chance to review them. If you are new to the world of cell phones, or if you want to get your 16yr old kid a phone without having to add a line to your current account or just in general, Virgin Mobile is a great route, now although this is just one prepaid service, there are many others such as Boost, T-mobile prepaid, MetroPCS, ATT, and so forth, most major carriers have their own version of prepaid so depending on your area and various prices, you might want to look into what you want to get.
