Virgin Mobile is a prepaid service which runs under Sprints data and voice network. They offer a variety of services most notably their beyond talk plans which is used for their Android/Apple phones which can run under there 4G LTE, 4G WiMax, and 3G networks. For the smart phone enthusiast I highly recommend them especially if you don't plan to stick around with the same phone, if you decide you want to buy a new phone its easily swap-able online through their website at www.virginmobileusa.com through your account settings, its easy and wont take long.

Whats great about their service is the plans which all are inexpensive:

Virgin Mobile has Beyond talk plans starting at $35-$55. Although the $35 plan only gives you 300 minutes a month you have unlimited text and web which is what most people use now a days, now if you want more minutes then the more expensive plans is what you will have to go for.

I was with VM for a few years but switched over to T-mobile because the 3g coverage in my area was horrible, and I needed great data coverage, now this varies depending on your location, but now sprint/virgin/boost are expanding their 4G LTE locations and in the next 2-3yrs your going to see it everywhere with newer phones being LTE capable. Would I go with VM, yes I would because they always seem to come out with new phones every couple of months, to the smart phone enthusiasts who likes to tweek with new phones but don't want to pay for a 2yr plan this is the route to go.
